We are currently seeking an Engineer Level II. Location of this position may be in the National Capital Region or the Norfolk, Virginia areas. This contract supports Navy/DoD training requirements and Navy Distance Learning objectives.
Candidate is responsible to provide engineering, technical, and managerial support for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements. This will be accomplished through the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems. This candidate will also be required to make recommendations and advise Task Leads and the Program Manager on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
3 years of related engineering experience.
Must be a US Citizen and possess or be eligible for a DoD SECRET Clearance.
Possess excellent written and communication skills.
Ability to travel.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Technical writing experience
Able to interface, work well and communicate with team mates on several projects simultaneously.
