This position applies advanced technical and operational protection support knowledge and experience to support the development, implementation, and/or operations of All Hazards/full spectrum Protection Programs.; These programs include Antiterrorism, Physical Security, Law Enforcement Critical Infrastructure Protection, Training and Readiness, Emergency Management, Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction, and CBRNE Defense issues related to client goals, mission and critical assets this position works under the direction and supervision of the manager with significant latitude for independent action and/or decision.The Interdiction and Border Security Partner Nation Capabilities Analyst position requires the candidate provide Border Security technical advice to assist partner nations develop a response strategy to enhance border security and prevent smuggling activities.
Make recommendations on existing and emerging Interagency or International engagements related to expansion and implementation of specific instruments that increase security and decrease proliferation of WMD.
Provide recommendations to Partner Nations for Border Security plans and policy applications as well as the sequence and timing of key Border Security events to exercise.
Recommend methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions for bilateral and multilateral exercises.
Will be familiar with coordinating activities with U.S. Embassy Security Assistance Offices to ensure activities are integrated with and fully support U.S. Government and USCENTCOM‘s Theater Security Cooperation Plans.
Maintain continuous liaison with HQ staff offices and Service Components in order to properly integrate activities.
Shall possess working knowledge of the Global - Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System (G-TSCMIS).
Demonstrated expertise in sequencing key events and milestones into multi-lateral exercises or events.
Have a Master's degree in a CWMD related, applicable discipline from an accredited college or university with 5 years of related experience OR a Bachelor's degree in a CWMD related, applicable discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight years of qualifying experience may be substituted for Master’s degree
Three years’ experience in area related to the CWMD field and knowledge of the CWMD community of interest, with operations supporting a Combatant Command, other government agency Headquarters or government experience, and experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team
Must be a US citizen with a current DOD Top Secret clearance and ability to gain and maintain SCI as a condition of employment
Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat products.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Experience on the CENTCOM staff
Experience on the Joint Staff experience
Experience with Department of Homeland Security
Working knowledge of MS Visio and MS Project highly preferred.
May be required to secure and/or maintain a security clearance or equivalent for work with supported clients.
